Quality is planned against your build scope
Quality on a Box Build is defined per project, not promised in the abstract. We agree the control points, records and responsibilities with you, then execute and document to that plan.
Quality Planning Starts With the Build Scope
Critical-to-quality features, drawing revisions, acceptance criteria and sampling or 100%-check requirements are written into a project quality plan up front, with customer responsibilities stated so nothing is assumed.
Incoming and Kitting Controls
Enclosures, PCBAs, harnesses, COTS parts, firmware and labels are checked for identity, revision and status by risk before they enter the build, so a unit is assembled from the agreed configuration.
First Article and In-Process Verification
A first article and defined in-process checks confirm critical interfaces, fastening, routing, polarity and labeling against the drawing, with deviations approved before production continues.
Functional Test Records
Where a functional or power-on test is agreed, we record the device identity, test version, limits, result and any exceptions — committed only to the scope defined in the contract, not as a blanket guarantee.
Serialization and Unit-Level Traceability
Serial numbers can be linked to material lots, firmware, test data and packing records so an individual unit can be traced to the depth agreed for the project.
Engineering Change and Configuration Control
BOMs, drawings, work instructions, firmware and test procedures are version-controlled, with the effective unit or date recorded when a change is introduced.
Documentation and Production Handover
Inspection, test, serial, packing and change-control outputs can be assembled into a handover package as agreed — real project records only, never fabricated sample data.
